Maharaj asks pilgrims to visit other mythological/ religious circuits along with char dhams

While congratulating the pilgrims for Char Dham Yatra on the occasion of the reopening of the portals of Lord Badri Vishal on Thursday, the State tourism minister Satpal Maharaj asked them to visit other mythological and religious circuits along with char dham. He also asked them to follow the yatra rules and register themselves to avail the facilities the State government has arranged for them.
He sounded confident that the number of pilgrims for the four shrines will break all previous records. He said that
till now 20, 05,840 pilgrims have got themselves registered for char dham and Hemkund sahib yatra since February 18. He further informed that so far 7,05,892 have registered for Kedarnath, 5,97,093 for Badrinath, 3,65,107 for Gangotri, 3,20,930 for Yamunotri and 16,618 for Hemkund have got themselves registered. With the opening of the doors of Badrinath, over 40 thousand pilgrims have till now had darshan in the four dhams.
Maharaj said that bookings worth Rs 10,91,11,996 have been done in the GMVN guest houses since February 16.
