The State minister Satpal Maharaj requested the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath to provide 665 cusecs of water to the Iqbalpur Canal in Haridwar district during a courtesy call he made on Yogi on Friday. He also requested the UP CM for immediate cleaning of the irrigation canals of Uttar Pradesh located in Uttarakhand and open some closed irrigation canals of both states.
Maharaj also thanked Yogi for UP’s cooperation in the construction of Jamrani Dam.
