The breathtaking beauty of Adi Kailash and the divine charm of ancient Jageshwar temple seem to have cast a spell over the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After his one day visit to the Kumaon region on October 12, PM Modi expressed his feelings about the trip on his official X handle.
He said, “If someone were to ask me- if there is one place you must visit in Uttarakhand which place would it be, I would say you must visit Parvati Kund and Jageshwar temples in the Kumaon region of the state. The natural beauty and divinity will leave you spellbound.’’
The PM added, “Of course, Uttarakhand has many well known places worth visiting and I have also visited the state very often. This includes the sacred places of Kedarnath and Badrinath, which are the most memorable experiences. But, to return to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar temples after many years has been special.’’
In response to the post of the PM, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that as per the vision of PM Modi travelling to the State is being made easy and comfortable by construction of roads, rail and ropeways. On his official X handle, Dhami posted, “The visit of PM Modi to Adi Kailash, Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham has given a new identity to these places and has paved the way to prosperity for local people.”
He said that the visit of the PM has not only given a message of spirituality to the world but has given his approval on the vision of Manaskhand Mandir Mala mission.
