In latest news from Dehradun, the State’s chief secretary Radha Raturi and the chairman of the expert committee constituted to draft the Uniform Civil Code Bill Shatrughan Singh chaired a meeting convened to review the laws to be enacted for implementing the UCC in Uttarakhand. The officers representing home, police, health, excise, minority, culture, food, energy and finance departments were present at the crucial meeting.
Raturi and Singh directed all the officers present to work in tandem to ensure that the UCC is executed in the State at the earliest.
