Opposing ban on entry in secretariat, Harish Rawat to hold fast
The former Chief Minister and general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC), Harish Rawat has threatened to sit on a fast against the state government’s decision to ban entry of general public in the state secretariat. He said that the state government is going ahead with the process of unlock and everything including schools are open now but the centre of power, secretariat is still closed to the public.
Rawat threatened that he would sit on a fast if the secretariat is not opened for the public within a week. To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the state government has banned entry of media persons and the general public in the state secretariat.
