Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami exercised his franchise at Nagra Terai polling station in his native Khatima town of Udham Singh Nagar district on Friday morning. Like an ordinary citizen the CM waited for his turn to vote while standing in a queue. After casting his vote CM Dhami ate a sweet (Jalebi) to give the message of ‘Pehle Matdan Fir Jalpan’.
Dhami appealed to people to participate in the festival of democracy by coming out of their homes to vote. He requested that the youth, especially first time voters, give their contribution in shaping the future of the nation by exercising the power of vote. The CM said that there is enthusiasm among the people. He expressed confidence that a strong and stable government will be formed after the elections. Later in the day the CM visited many polling stations in Khatima where he met the BJP workers and encouraged them.
