Pine Hall School hosted an outreach programme aimed at educating students on the fundamentals of income tax and taxpayer services to mark the Income Tax Day. Organised by the Income Tax department, the event provided insights into the importance of income tax for nation-building, the organisers said.
Inspectors of Income Tax Anit Kumar and Themreirin Varah in their speeches dwelt on the basics of income tax, the importance of timely tax payment and the role of taxpayers in the economic development of the country.
Principal of Pine Hall School Rama Anand emphasised the importance of financial literacy for students and encouraged the continuation of such collaborative initiatives in the future.
