The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been bestowed with Russia’s highest civilian award by the Russian President Vladimir Putin in recognition of his outstanding efforts to promote vibrant partnership between India and Russia during his two-day Moscow visit. After receiving the award, Modi said that the award had been given to 140 crore Indians and signified the strength of the time-tested partnership and cooperation between these two countries. He also lauded Putin’s leadership in deepening this bilateral relation.
