The Sahara Group founder Subrata Roy passed away due to cardiorespiratory arrest in a private hospital in Mumbai at the age of 75. His mortal remains are being brought to the Sahara Sahar in Lucknow. Meanwhile, many from the worlds of politics and industries condoled his death. In a statement issued by Sahara Group, it is said that he had been battling against Cancer which kept spreading on his body and with sudden deterioration in his condition, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai where he breathed his last at 10.30 pm due to cardiac arrest. He was born in Araria district of Bihar in 1948 and had his schooling in Kolkata. He started his business in Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in 1978.
