Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management students secure placements in top organisations

The Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management in Dehradun is providing golden opportunities for Uttarakhand’s youth to work at the national and international levels. According to the institute, 15 of its students have secured a place in one of the world’s number one properties, the Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. 

The institution’s principal averred that it is the only institute in Uttarakhand with such excellent placement in both the four-year Bachelor in Hotel Management and the one-year Diploma in Hotel Management programmes. He said that there are immense opportunities in the tourism and hotel industry in Uttarakhand, providing locally trained students with employment and self-employment opportunities. He also highlighted that people from the State are serving in high positions in the hotel industry both domestically and internationally, with many running their own hotels in various countries. He further added that after completing the four-year BHM and one-year diploma programmes from this institute, students are provided with placement opportunities in five-star hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Dubai. Additionally, placements have been secured in five-star hotels in India such as the Taj Lake Palace, Taj Rambagh Palace Jaipur, Oberoi, IHG Group, Lalit, ITC, Hyatt, Marriott and The Lodhi.

Admissions have begun for Bachelor’s and other courses at Shri Ram Institute of Hotel Management for which interested students can register. According to the institute, more than 400 students from the last batch have been selected through campus placements in various five-star hotels worldwide.

The institute offers a variety of programmes for students including a one-year certificate program, diploma in bartending, diploma in hotel management, diploma in bakery, diploma in hotel management and catering technology, as well as BA, BSc in Agriculture, BCom and Master of Hotel Management.
