Streamline process of claim payment in SHA: Hyanki

The State Health Authority (SHA) is planning to streamline the process of payment of the claims made by the hospitals under the Ayushman scheme. In a meeting of the SHA held on Friday, the newly appointed chairperson AS Hyanki directed the officers that the payment of the claims made by the hospitals should be done within the stipulated time period. He said that the pending cases of claims of the listed hospitals under the Ayushman scheme should be disposed of as early as possible. On a stern note the chairperson said that laxity at any level will not be tolerated. In the meeting Hyanki reviewed the progress of the Ayushman Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana, Atal Ayushman Yojana and State government health scheme.
On the issue of disposal of pending cases of claims, Hyanki said that the hospital concerned should be asked to submit their reply in the claims in which the SHA has made some objections.
It was decided in the meeting that efforts of capacity building of the hospitals should be made. The SHA will keep a special focus on the hospitals which were recently included in the list of paneled hospitals.
The chairperson also directed the officers to expedite the process of making golden cards of the employees of the autonomous bodies.
The director (Administration) Dr VS Tolia, Finance director Abhishek Anand and others attended the meeting.
