The Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that strengthening the booth will make the nation stronger. He also exhorted the party workers to inform the public about the recently banned Popular Front of India (PFI) which was indulging in anti-national activities. He said this while addressing the party office bearers here on Saturday while on a four-day tour of the State.
Vijayvargiya said that the party’s booth head and Panna Pramukh should visit all homes in their respective areas. The Panna Pramukh should interact with every family in the booth at least once a month and inform them about the policies of the BJP. Interacting with the Panna Pramukh, booth head and office bearers of booth number 131, he sought information about the voters from the Panna Pramukh. He said that not only the national general secretary but even the party’s national president holds meetings at the booth. Stating that the BJP works for the nation, Vijayvargiya said that the nation is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Home minister Amit Shah had banned the PFI for anti-national activities. He exhorted the party workers to also inform the people about the PFI, adding that the organisation was working to destabilise the nation.
He further said that the party workers should sit together while listening to PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat as this strengthens their association and enables them to easily communicate the government’s schemes to the public. MLA Mohan Singh Bisht, the party’s district head Pradeep Bisht, booth head Bishan Dutt Joshi and other office bearers were also present on the occasion. It will be recalled that Vijayvargiya is slated to hold meetings with the chief minister, BJP State president, MPs and other public representatives of the party during his Uttarakhand visit.
