Sangmitra Bhardwaj, a native of Haldwani, has brought laurels for Uttarakhand as the 25-year-old woman received the first France-India Business Leadership Award for her innovative ‘Insusty’ project. Significantly, she is the youngest person ever to receive this esteemed award. The award committee is said to have acknowledged her achievement in bringing about a sustainable transformation in the business sector.
Looking elated over her daughter’s achievement, Reena Bhardwaj said, “I am proud of my daughter for making history as the first recipient of the Business Leadership Award. The Chamber of Commerce in France recently acknowledged her innovative work on ‘Insusty’ and presented her with the award. Her accomplishment is bound to inspire companies based in France to offset their carbon footprint by supporting eco- friendly projects.”
She further said that her daughter’s work had put a spotlight on the importance of coexistence with nature.
