In latest news from Uttarakhand, officers and employees of various departments of Tehri district who write literature can apply for nomination for awards under Uttarakhand Sahitya Gaurav Samman Yojana-2024. Stating this, the additional district magistrate K K Mishra said that Uttarakhand Bhasha Sansthan is encouraging scholars, writers, poets and budding writers who are engaged in literary works in Hindi, regional dialects, Urdu and Punjabi through such awards. This year, under Uttarakhand Sahitya Gaurav Samman Yojana-2024, several awards were proposed, including Uttarakhand Sahitya Bhushan Samman, Uttarakhand Long -Term Excellent Literature Creation Award, Uttarakhand Sahitya Nari Vandan Samman, Children’s Literature Writing Award and Uttarakhand Original Book Writing Award.
