1, 30, 486 pilgrims visit Hemkund Sahib so far this year amidst beautiful nature & fine weather

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the pilgrims to revered shrine Hemkund Sahib keep on arriving and aside from satisfying their souls with the pilgrimage, they are enjoying the ethereal beauty of nature as flowers of myriad species are in full bloom around the lake amidst thawing snow. The pilgrims say that this is a double blessing for them.  

The vice-chairman of Hemkund Sahib Trust Narendra Jit Singh Bidra said that the weather being fine now, the pilgrims are coming in considerable numbers. “So far this year, over 1, 30, 486 devotees have come on pilgrimage to this shrine. What adds to the spiritual joy of the pilgrimage is the enjoyment of the nature’s heavenly bounty manifested in the blooming of various types of colourful flowers around the sacred lake,” he said. He further said that the district administration had made all possible arrangements to ensure a smooth Hemkund Sahib Yatra.
