On his return to the national capital after the completion of Ram Lalla consecration at Ayodhya, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the first decision he had taken after his return is to put up rooftop solar system on the houses of one crore people. This project has been christened as Prime Minister Suryodaya Yojana. He said that this would not just bring down the electricity consumption spending for the people from poor and middle class families but help India become self -sufficient in power generation.
