In latest Uttarakhand news, at least one person was killed and two were injured as the car they were travelling in crashed into a gorge along the Chamoli-Simli motor road late into night. The car was heading to Simlat village from Simla. On being informed of the accident, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local police teams rushed to the site and pulled out three persons from the mangled car. However, one of them was found dead and the other two who were seriously injured were swiftly transferred to a hospital. The deceased was identified as Surendra Kumar (42), resident of Simlat, while the two injured were identified as Santosh Chauhan (40) and Asish Kandwal (42).
