About 10,000 farmers from Uttarakhand will join the proposed tractor rally of farmers in Delhi on Republic Day.
This was informed by the State vice president of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Vishal Chaudhary while adding that all the protesting farmers will leave for Delhi borders on January 23. He said that last month, the party organised Kisan Nyay Yatra in seven assembly constituencies of the state in the presence of the Member of Parliament (MP) of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann in which thousands of farmers participated and interacted with the party.
According to him, the BJP led government in the state as well as in the centre does not care about the welfare of farmers but AAP will stand with farmers till the government roll back the farm laws. According to AAP, the farmers from Terai region of State like Rudrapur, Khatima, Kashipur, Jaspur and Sitarganj will participate in the rally and five tractors from each village in these areas will depart for the rally too.
