104 helpline eliciting a good response from public-minister

The Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the 104 integrated helpline service of the State Health Department is receiving a very good response from the public. He said that more than 5,000 calls are being received per day on the number. Anyone can get information about the health services, can register complaints, provide suggestions and take medical consultancy from the 104 helpline number.
The minister said that the health services in the State are being strengthened further. He said that the 104 helplines have been started to provide easy access to health services to the general public. Rawat said that 24-hour service is free of cost and anyone can avail of it to get information about health services and provide suggestions. He further informed that the medical consultation is available on the helpline from 9 am to 5 pm on all weekdays (Monday to Saturday).

Rawat said that the GNM and ANMs are providing information about the medicines for pregnant women, hospital visits, vaccination, tests, and information about the ambulances at the time of delivery in the 104 helplines.
Apart from it, necessary information is being provided to TB patients, those undergoing dialysis, Covid-19 infected patients, and others under the helpline. General information about health, blood banks, vaccinations, medicines, and protocol associated with the medicines are also being provided to people in the 104 helplines. Rawat assured that quick disposal of the complaints received in the 104 helplines would be done and necessary action on the suggestions received would be taken. He appealed that more and more people should avail the benefit of the 104 helplines.
