In latest news from Doon, the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo commenced in Dehradun. The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Yadav and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the first such congregation in Uttarakhand. Among those present were the State cabinet ministers-Satpal Maharaj and Dhan Singh Rawat and Acharya Balkrishna. The theme of the congress is – Digital Health: An Ayurvedic Perspective. Representatives from 60 countries are participating in it. The World Ayurveda Congress is being organised at the Centre’s initiative since 2002.
