11 more U’khand natives return safely from Sudan

Eleven natives of Uttarakhand, part of the batch of Indian evacuees from civil war- torn Sudan returned to the country in an Indian Air Force plane on Friday. The Indian government has launched Operation Kaveri under which the Indians stranded in Sudan are being brought home.
On reaching the Palam airport, the 11 natives of Uttarakhand were welcomed by the resident commissioner Ajay Mishra and assistant protocol officer Manoj Joshi and Amar Bisht. Those who returned from Sudan on Friday included Girish Garkoti, Abbal Singh, Bhola Singh Panwar, Arvind Prasad Gairola, Vinod Rawat, Kuldeep Singh, Ganesh Singh, Rajesh Singh, Bobby Singh, Naresh Kumar and Vinod Kumar Singh.
Apart from them three natives of Uttarakhand- Uttam Singh Rautela, Prashant Kumar Chaudhary and Yogesh have arrived in Mumbai airport. They were received by the representative of Uttarakhand Chandrashekhar Lingwal. A total of 24 natives of Uttarakhand have so far returned home under the Operation Kaveri.
