The State health department reported 111 new cases of the Covid-19 on Friday. The State now has 311 active cases of the disease. The authorities reported 67 new cases of Covid-19 from Dehradun on Friday.
Similarly 17 new cases of the disease were reported in Nainital, 12 in Udham Singh Nagar, five in Haridwar, two each in Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli and Champawat and one each in Pauri and Rudraprayag district. No new cases were found from Pithoragarh and Uttarkashi districts.
The authorities declared 93 patients recovered from the disease on Tuesday. The department has so far detected 2,557 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year in the State. A total of 2,234 patients have recovered from the disease so far. A total of 12 patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 this year in the state. The State now has 311 active patients of Covid-19 with Dehradun and Nainital leading the table with 99 and 96 active cases of the disease respectively.
