The State Health department of Uttarakhand reported 12 new patients of Covid-19 in the state on Monday. Death of no patient was reported in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 22 patients cured of the infection on the day. The department has so far detected 92,720 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,119 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.12 per cent on Monday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.99 per cent on the day. The health department reported four new patients each from Dehradun and Nainital and one each from Tehri, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi on Monday.
The number of active patients of Covid-19 in the state was at 69 on Monday. Dehradun with 44 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar and Nainital have five active cases each of the disease. Bageshwar, Champawat, Pauri and Pithoragarh now have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 10,224 people were vaccinated in 856 sessions in the state held on Monday.
