The Assembly speaker Ritu Khanduri has said that the Vidhan Sabha secretariat has so far issued orders of termination of service to 140 employees. She said that 40 orders were issued on Monday and 35 employees have received them while 100 orders were issued on Tuesday.
She said that the employees are being terminated because the three-member expert committee has found their appointments against the rules as no advertisement was released, no selection committee was constituted and in the whole process articles 14 and 16 of constitution were violated. Khanduri said that she is in search of an officer in the position of Vidhan Sabha secretary.
