The Union minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation VK Singh handed over the appointment letters to 148 candidates selected in various departments in the sixth Rozgar Mela held at the auditorium of Survey of India here on Tuesday. The youths had come from various parts of the State to receive appointment letters for various positions in AIIMS, IRDE, SIDBI and other organisations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually attended the Rozgar Mela and addressed the recruited youths. He congratulated them and emphasised on the government’s commitment to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process. He informed that 70, 000 youths were being provided the appointment letters in 43 centers of the country on Tuesday.
It will be recalled that Rozgar Mela was also conducted last month at the General Post Office in Dehradun, in which 204 candidates received appointment letters to various government jobs.
