162 candidates selected for various Central Govt posts get appointment letters

The 15th tranche of the Rozgar Mela was organised by the Department of Revenue, CBIC at the Survey of India auditorium in Dehradun on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the mela through video conferencing and virtually handed over appointment letters to over 51,000 candidates, spread over 47 locations across the country. In his address PM Modi asked the youth to use the Karmyogi portal for upskilling themselves. He called upon the youth to utilise their services for betterment of public life and also gave the slogan “Nagrik Devo Bhava”.
During the programme held in Dehradun, the Union minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta distributed appointment letters to 162 candidates selected by 13 different departments, namely CBIC, Forest Survey of India, Bank of Baroda, EPFO, AIIMS, PCDA, FCI and Railways, among others. Tamta also congratulated the candidates and called upon them to serve the nation honestly and diligently.
Chief commissioner, CGST Meerut Zone, Sanjay Mangal, principal commissioner, CGST Dehradun Shubh Chintan and commissioner (CGST Appeals) Anil Chaudhary along with various other departmental officers were present on the occasion. Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Das Dehradun Cantt MLA Savita Kapoor were also among those present on the occasion.
