With the 25-day Life- Saving Technique and White Water Kayaking training being organised by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) and the National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS) continuing at Neem Beach and Shivpuri in Rishikesh, 14 young men and four young women are being trained by NIWS experts. The training commenced on November 18 and will continue till December 14. Informing this, the secretary Uttarakhand Tourism Sachin Kurve said that the trainees would engage in rescue operations involving rafting.
