In her address, Singh dwelt on topics such as developing protocols for meta-analysis, assessing the quality and risk of bias of studies, interpreting meta-analytic models and critically evaluating the accuracy of diagnostic tests. The dean Academics of AIIMS Rishikesh Dr Jaya Chaturvedi described the workshop as helpful in better understanding the healthcare scenario. The participants would also be provided with tools to evaluate information and evidence, making it easier for them to take decisions in health and treatment. The organising secretary of the programme and senior librarian of the institute Sandeep Kumar Singh said that with new experts working in the field of research facing various challenges, this workshop would give the researchers the opportunity to prepare research questions, do an in-depth search of literature and assess the quality of data.
