The Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB), a new national school board established by Government of India, entrusting Patanjali Yogpeeth as its sponsoring bod, hosted a two-day educational symposium on the theme ‘Transforming School Education: Integrating Indian Ethos for Rising India’ at the campus of the University of Patanjali in Haridwar. Several leading educational institutions and organisations participated and discussed innovative ways of blending modern educational methodologies into the school curriculum.
Inaugurating it, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev said that it was high time for transforming India’s youngsters into world leaders as living embodiment of the Indian values and perspectives. The executive chairman of the Bhartiya Shiksha Board N P Singh said that this symposium represented a significant milestone in their journey to shape the contemporary education system by blending India’s traditional wisdom and evolving scientific understanding of human mind.
