In latest news from Uttarakhand, the two-day annual festival christened ‘Goonse’ concluded at the DSB campus of Kumaun University. The noted folk singer Maya Upadhyay presented musical performance involving popular Garhwali and Kumaoni songs during the closing ceremony.
The students themselves presented cultural programmes. The representative of the Member of Parliament Ajay Bhatt, Gopal Singh Rawat announced on the occasion that Rs one lakh would be given to the campus on behalf of the MP, adding that an ambulance would be acquired for the campus soon too.
