In latest news from Doon, the regional metrological centre has forecast two days’ heavy shower in Kumaon region and the districts in Garhwal region adjacent to Kumaon. Light to moderate rain is likely across the State for the two days.
In a warning issued for July 7, the director of the centre Bikram Singh said that the rivers might be in spate where there would be heavy rain. Those living in proximity to the swollen rivers should be alert and the same applies to those who will drive car.
