Two person died and one was injured when a car plying from Noida to Beeronkhal fell into a gorge near Bajro bridge on the Kotdwar- Beeronkhal motor road in Pauri district on Tuesday. The injured was admitted to the primary health centre at Beeronkhal.
According to Thalisain police SHO Satendra Bhandari, the police got information of the accident at 10 AM and reached the spot soon. The police found that car no UP- 16 GT 4495 had fallen into a gorge near the river. Two persons had died on the spot while one was injured. Noida resident Rohit (25) and Kundan Singh (55) of Kolinda village died on the spot while Sunil Kumar from Panjaro village was injured in the mishap. The taxi was being driven by Rohit from Noida to Beeronkhal when the mishap occurred.
