In latest news from Uttarakhand, a joint team of Haldwani police and Special Operation Group (SOG) nabbed two drug smugglers from Tinpani bypass road, Haldwani and seized from them 50 illegal drug injections. The accused duo has been identified as Abdul Shami (25) and Rizwan Khan (27)-both residents of Banbhoolpura. Police said that cases have been filed against them under the appropriate sections of NDPS Act.
