In latest news from Doon, two IAS officers of Uttarakhand cadre Raghav Langer and Jyoti Yadav have been appointed as joint secretaries in Government of India. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, presided over by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, selected the new officers. Notably, only 16 officers have been selected from across the country to be entrusted with important responsibilities.
Presently, Langer is working as the director in the ministry of Jal Shakti in the Government of India. Jyoti Yadav, on the other hand, has been working in the Ministry of Commerce on the Central deputation since 2018.
These selections are likely to further enhance the Uttarakhand’s administrative stature.
