PNS/ DEHRADUN
Two youths, residents of Nainital, were killed as the two- wheeler they were travelling on veered off the bridge they were crossing and plunged into gorge in Jeolikot area at around 8.30 PM. The accident occurred when they were returning to Nainital from Haldwani. Upon being informed, a team from Jeolikot police station, fire personnel and an SDRF team rushed to the spot. After an hour’s operation, the two injured were pulled up and transported to Government Susheela Tiwari Hospital where they were declared dead. The deceased were identified as Vaibhab Negi (22) and Arpit Chauhan (21).
