201 Agniveer join Indian Army at GR regimental centre Lansdowne

A batch of 201 Agniveer recruits of prestigious Garhwal Rifles joined the Indian Army after a passing out parade at the Garhwal Rifles regimental centre, Lansdowne on Tuesday.
The batch successfully completed 31 weeks of strenuous training. The reviewing officer of the PoP was the commandant of the Garhwal Rifles regimental centre, Lansdowne. After reviewing the parade, he addressed the newly attested Agniveers. In his address to the young soldiers, the RO encouraged them to unflinchingly discharge their duties in the service of the nation. He emphasized that it was a matter of immense pride and honour for the Agniveers as they have been given the singular privilege of joining the Indian Army after getting trained in the Agniveer Course-04.
The parents and guardians of all Agniveers were invited to witness their attestation. The parade was witnessed by a large gathering of locals of Lansdowne, veterans and around 500 school students.
