With the onset of winters, the number of Covid cases are increasing again in Uttarakhand. The state health department reported 27 new cases of the disease on Friday from different parts of the State.
Death of no patient was reported on the day. The authorities also declared nine patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 1,04297 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 1,00100 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96 per cent on Friday. A total of 333 patients have lost their lives to the disease this year in the state.
The health department reported 12 new patients from Dehradun, eight from Chamoli, two each from Haridwar and Uttarkashi and one each from Nainital, Pauri and Rudraprayag on the day.
There are 76 active patients of Covid- 19 in the state now. Dehradun with 36 cases is at the top of the table of active cases in the state while Haridwar has 11, Chamoli 10 and Nainital eight active cases of the disease now.
