In latest news from Doon, with the Char Dham Yatra gaining momentum again after rain-triggered interruptions, about 28,000 pilgrims had darshan on a single day: Monday. Of them, the Kedarnath pilgrims accounted for 11,309 followed by 6644 for Badrinath, 2406 for Gangotri and 3290 for Yamunotri. So far this year, the Char Dhams have seen more than four million pilgrims.
The pilgrims appreciated the steps the State government took in promptly restoring vehicular movement on the landslide- damaged roads leading to Char Dhams.
