3-day conference concludes at Badrinath Dham

The three-day conference organised under the joint auspices of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Central Sanskrit University Devprayag and Soban Singh Jeena University concluded on Friday. About 450 educationists and researchers from 22 states participated and were felicitated.
Addressing the closing session, the chief guest Swami Mukundanand Giri of Jyotish Peeth discussed the Shankaracharya tradition, saying that Shankaracharya is the founding father of Sanatan Dharma. Expressing concern over the sorry state of the Sanskrit language, Giri said that Sanskrit has become a dead language. “We must all come forward to save it from extinction,” he said. The general secretary of the Char Dham Tirtha Purohit Mahapanchayat, Brijesh Sati shed light on the significance of Badrinath, presenting research findings related to Badri Puri.
