The ninth edition of Dehradun International Film Festival–which went on for three days-concluded in the presence of the cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal and Saurabh Bahuguna. While appreciating the efforts of the festival’s organisers, the ministers said that such festivals should continue to be held to benefit the youth with film making and acting aspirations. The actors who were present shared their experiences and explained the challenges and opportunities lying in film career. Among those felicitated on the occasion included Rajasthani folk pop singer Ila Arun, actors- Rajesh Sharma, Gajendra Chauhan, Adil Hussain, Manoj Joshi, Zakir Hussain, Sharif Hashmi and Deepak Kejriwal and film directors- Pushpendra Singh, Kamal Chandra and Agni Dev Chatterjee.
