In latest news from Uttarakhand, a three-day passport mobile van camp will be organised at Ghansali under Bhilangana block of Tehri district from February 6 to 8.
The regional passport office, Dehradun is organising the passport mobile van camp to provide the facility of making passport at home to the applicants. The regional passport officer Vijay Shankar Pandey said that online appointments would start in the last week of January on the official website http://passportindia.gov.in
He further said that a total of 150 passports would be made in Ghansali in three days-50 each day. He appealed to the locals to take advantage of this opportunity.
Under ambitious scheme of the Government of India, passports have been made from mobile van camps in New Tehri and Kotdwar.
