In latest news from Uttarakhand, with road mishaps dogging the State, three persons were killed as the vehicle they were travelling in lost control, skidded off Yamunotri National Highway and crashed into Yamuna river near Chami in Uttarkashi district. Police said that the accident occurred around 7 AM when the vehicle loaded with grocery items was heading towards Mori from Vikas Nagar in Dehradun.
The deceased were identified as Naushad (25), Pravin Jain (45) and Ajay Shah (30). They were residents of Jeevangarh, Vikas Nagar.
