Three professors of Kumaun University were felicitated in the teacher felicitation ceremony organised under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India; Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (U-COST); ONGC; Science Technology and Agriculture Research and Development Society and Divya Himgiri.
The KU’s research director Prof Nand Gopal Sahu and professor of Biotechnology department Veena Pandey were presented with Excellence in the Research of the Year Award while the professor of the Commerce department, DSB Campus of KU, Pooja Joshi Paliwal was bestowed with the Teacher of the Year Award. The director general of police, Uttarakhand, Abhinav Kumar and senior higher education officials awarded the KU teachers at the fifth Dehradun International Science and Technology Festival.
