3 researchers from University of Patanjali conferred with PhDs

Three researchers of the Haridwar-based University of Patanjali have been awarded PhDs for their thesis at a programme held on Monday.
Swami Bajrangdev was conferred with PhD for his thesis on comparative study of Sankhya Yoga and Buddhist philosophy done under the direction of the head of the oriental learning department of the university Sadhvi Devpriya. Neha studied the impact of the traditional wellness systems of treatment on human body and psychology under the direction of the associate professor of the department of psychology Abhishek Kumar Bharadwaj and submitted her thesis which fetched her the PhD. Besides, Priyanshi Kaushik submitted her thesis on the impact of yoga on the quality sleep and psychological agility of the elderly where two special examiners were present- associate professor of HNB Central Garhwal University Anuja Rawat and the associate professor of Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University Arun Kumar Singh.
Addressing the programme, the pro vice chancellor of the University of Patanjali Mahavir Agarwal said that research works done by scholars contribute to collective wellbeing of the society.
