In latest Uttarakhand news, the Haridwar-based Grurukul Kangri Deemed University administration has suspended three teachers of different departments on the charge of misbehaving with the vice- chancellor and the registrar. Earlier, the teachers were served with show cause notices and then on the basis of the report submitted by the four-member probe committee, the university administration took the suspension action. As per information received, the three teachers, who were supporting the suspended vice-chancellor Roop Kishore Shastri, allegedly barged into the VC’s office. They allegedly stayed put in the VC’s office for at least two hours. It is learnt from the university sources that the probe committee recorded statements of about 30 persons and the report supported by CCTV footages was submitted to the university administration recently.
