300 children selected in Doon for Mukhyamantri Khiladi Udiyaman Yojana

The three-day selection process to select talented children at the Dehradun district level to be the rightful beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Khiladi Udiyaman Yojana successfully ended on Friday which was being conducted at Parade Ground. It was being conducted to select children who are into sports under the guidance of additional district magistrate (administration) Shiv Kumar Baranwal.
Over 200 children participated in the selection process on the last day out of which, 50 boys and 54 girls belonged to the age groups of 12-13 years and 54 boys and 44 girls to 13-14 years. During the three-day selection process period, a total of 498 children participated from across the district but only 300 children including 150 girls and boys were selected for the scheme.
After the launch of the scheme on August 29 by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhani, each beneficiary will receive Rs 1,500 each month for one year, said the ADM.
