In what comes as a shot in the arm, a total of 345 new medical officers have been appointed in the Health department through the Uttarakhand public service commission.
These doctors will be posted soon. Chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the health services of the state will be strengthened further at a time when the Covid pandemic is being tackled. He said that the health services in the state are being consistently expanded. The arrival of these new doctors will help the government tackle the Covid pandemic, he said.
