37 students of U’khand back from Ukraine so far

Students hailing from Uttarakhand who were stuck in war afflicted Ukraine have continued to return to the nation and state. More than 40 students hailing from different parts of the state have been brought back from Ukraine by the government so far. Late on Tuesday night four students arrived in the national capital. Isha Rawat from Dehradun, Mohammed Anas from Haridwar, Shailly Tripathi from Nainital and Tanushree Pandey from Pithoragarh returned on Tuesday night. Their return was followed by the arrival of three more students- Sara Ali, Shoeb Ali and Namita Dhiman, all from Dehradun district. Later in the day, nine students were received by the state officials at the Delhi airport bringing the total of students being brought back from Ukraine to 37.

It is pertinent to mention here that more than 200 people hailing from Uttarakhand were reported to be in Ukraine after that country was invaded. The government’s efforts to bring back the Indian citizens are continuing with students of Uttarakhand continuing to return from Ukraine on a daily basis.
