40 delegates from U’kahnd to participate in AICC session in Gujarat

Forty delegates from Uttarakhand Congress will participate in the two day extended working committee session of All India Congress Committee (AICC) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat commencing from April 8. 

 The AICC meeting is being organised in continuation of the meeting organised in Belgaum in Karnataka which marked completion of 100 years of AICC meeting chaired by Mahatma Gandhi as president of the Congress party.  

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, former chief minister Harish Rawat, the leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha Yashpal Arya, former PCC president Pritam Singh, Ganesh Godiyal, MLAs Qazi Nizamuddin, Harish Dhami, Manoj Tiwari and other leaders arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday.

 The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni who also is delegate said that the session will be held at Ashram road on the banks of river Sabarmati in Ahmedabad. The session will be presided over by the Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and will be attended by leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders.

She said that the Gujarat Congress has made a very good arrangement for the session where brainstorming on many issues will be held. Dasauni said that all the senior leaders from Uttarakhand are participating in the session.
