42-seater aircraft starts service between Pithoragarh and Delhi

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually launched Alliance Air’s 42-seater aircraft service between Pithoragarh and Delhi. The CM said that the direct flight from Pithoragarh to Delhi was long awaited for a long time. With the start of this service, people will be able to reach Delhi from Pithoragarh in 1 hour 25 minutes with the fare fixed at Rs 2,500 per head.
Former Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta, district Panchayat president Deepika Bora and local MLA Mayukh Mehar expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the chief minister in their address.
The start of the air link from Delhi to Pithoragarh will also enable tourists to travel more conveniently to nearby destinations including Darma, Vyas Valley, Gunji, Adi Kailash, Chaukodi and other locations in the district.
